If you\u2019re looking to build your own home, make sure you know what each step entails. This article is here to help.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. Find some land<br \/>\nFirst things first with building your own property \u2014 you need some land. While you could get an architect and come up with some designs before you find the land, this isn\u2019t always a great idea. The land you end up with may put restrictions or have implications on the sort of design you can go with, so you might want to do this step first.<br \/>\nLand that already has planning permission will be more expensive, but if you aren\u2019t going to pay for that, you need to make sure it\u2019s the sort of land that\u2019s normally able to be built on.
