In 2017, the number one choice was deemed to be Mount Pleasant West.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Analysts with the company also noted that the Fairview area saw the largest growth with a 19% year-over-year increase in the median list price. Demand for Fairview \u201chas created more multi-family housing, while the number of detached homes has decreased.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Overall, the most common type of housing being searched within the city of Vancouver was a three-bedroom house priced between $1.25 million and $1.5 million.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">REW also provided an evaluation of suburban real estate markets in 2018 :<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 Burnaby: Most popular neighbourhood : Central Burnaby North<br \/>\n\u2022 Most common home search : 2 bedroom condo priced $700,000 to $800,000<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 Delta : Most popular neighbourhood : Port Guichon<br \/>\n\u2022 Most common home search : 1+ bedroom house priced $1.25 million to $1.5 million<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 North Shore : Most popular neighbourhood: Indian Arm<br \/>\n\u2022 Most common home search : 1+ bedroom house priced $1.25 million to $1.5 million<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 New Westminster : Most popular neighbourhood: Queen\u2019s Park<br \/>\n\u2022 Most common home search : 2 bedroom condo priced $500,000 to $600,000<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 Richmond : Most popular neighbourhood: Hamilton<br \/>\n\u2022 Most common home search : 3 bedroom house priced $1.25 million to $1.5 million<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u2022 Tri-Cities : Most popular neighbourhood: Anmore<br \/>\n\u2022 Most common home search : 3 bedroom house priced $1.25 million to $1.5 million<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/dailyhive.com\/vancouver\/vancouver-housing-popular-neighbourhoods-2018\">This Was Vancouver&#8217;s Most Popular Neighbourhood for Homebuyers in 2018<\/a> by Kenneth Chan | Daily Hive<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of Vancouver\u2019s most expensive neighbourhoods has been named the most popular area for prospective homebuyers in 2018.
