{"id":15842,"date":"2020-06-15T11:11:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-15T18:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.roryc.ca\/blog\/?p=15842"},"modified":"2020-06-10T10:13:12","modified_gmt":"2020-06-10T17:13:12","slug":"working-with-a-forward-thinking-real-estate-agent-utilizing-the-latest-technology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.roryc.ca\/blog\/2020\/06\/working-with-a-forward-thinking-real-estate-agent-utilizing-the-latest-technology\/","title":{"rendered":"Working with A Forward-Thinking Real Estate Agent &#038; Utilizing The Latest Technology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">People have changed the way they do business in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and that could lead to a permanent change in the way real estate transactions are processed too, experts say.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Consumers will most likely depend on real estate agents more than they\u2019ve done in the past, wrote Jennifer Anderson, a San Diego real estate professional and an honoree in the National Association of Realtors\u2019 \u201c30 Under 30\u201d class of 2014, in Forbes magazine.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cEven though most buyers will always prefer in-person walk-throughs, virtual showings offer a beneficial intermediary step for both buyers and sellers,\u201d Anderson wrote. \u201cTechnologies like augmented and virtual reality were a lifeline for the real estate industry during strict social distancing regulations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Anderson said that an increasing number of agents are likely to adopt these new technologies to digitize sales as they move forward. What with health and safety concerns now paramount, buyers are also likely to look to their agents for more information about financial impacts and environmental considerations, she said.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In addition, Anderson said she predicts more people will move from high-density areas in city centers to the suburbs and exurbs as they tend to prefer having more space.
