Here are a few of the most popular trends Living Spaces found in its study :<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Patio daybeds<\/strong><br \/>\nThe term \u201cpatio daybeds\u201d saw a 257% increase in Google searches over the past six months, Living Spaces said.<br \/>\n\u201cPatio daybeds completely fit in with the \u2018indoors out\u2019 theme of 2020, so it\u2019s no wonder they\u2019re on the rise,\u201d it said. \u201cSimplicity is key here to create a calm outdoor space. There\u2019s no need for a large coffee table; an end table or small pouf works just fine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Small-space outdoor furniture<\/strong><br \/>\nSearches have risen by 243% on Google in the last six months, with homeowners looking to incorporate rounded furnishings in their gardens and patio areas, as these can soften and open up such spaces, Living Spaces said. Round tables and stools, and also curved sofas are proving to be some of the most popular small-space furnishings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Backyard bars<\/strong><br \/>\nWith searches up 192%, it\u2019s clear that people are looking to get as comfortable as possible in their gardens.<br \/>\n\u201cThink of your backyard as you would your indoor space, starting with a floor plan,\u201d Living Spaces said. \u201cArrange groups of seating, focal points, serving stations, and walkways for a trendy feel.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Lemon yellow<\/strong><br \/>\nGoogle Trends data reveals that searches for \u201clemon yellow\u201d are up 103% this year as people increasingly look for brighter colours to liven up their outdoor spaces. Searches for \u201ccoral\u201d are also up 50%.<br \/>\n\u201cIn with bright colors, out with boring neutrals,\u201d Living Spaces notes. \u201cSpending more time in our homes and backyards means embracing more of our style personalities. What better way to do that than splashes of fun, playful, energizing color?\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Outdoor tiles<\/strong><br \/>\nAnother trend, one that\u2019s up 174% in the last six months, Outdoor tiles are said to be yet another example of how homeowners are looking to \u201cbring the indoors out\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Fire pits<\/strong><br \/>\nWhile fire pits have also been quite stylish, they\u2019re now becoming more popular than ever before, with searches for the term up 148% in the last six months<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cAs summer comes upon us, people are naturally drifting toward outdoor spaces,\u201d Living Spaces said. \u201cSlowing down, enjoying conversation, and life\u2019s moments are a few of the life lessons we\u2019ve all had to learn over the past few months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/realtybiznews.com\/this-years-top-outdoor-living-trends-revealed\/98759267\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">This Year&#8217;s Top Outdoor Living Trends Revealed<\/a> by Mike Wheatley | Realty Biz News<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Homeowners are placing more emphasis on their backyard appeal this summer, according to a study of Google Trends data by home d\u00e9cor retailer Living Spaces.
