The British Columbia Real Estate Association (BCREA) reports that 7,225 residential unit sales were recorded in Multiple Listing Service\u00ae (MLS\u00ae) Systems in June 2026, up 0.9% from June 2025. The average MLS\u00ae residential price in BC in June 2026 was down 0.8% at $946,878 compared to $954,712 in June 2025.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Total MLS\u00ae residential sales dollar volume was $6.84 billion, up 0.1% from the same time the previous year. BC MLS\u00ae unit sales were 18.4% lower than the ten-year average for the month of June.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cSales rose year-over-year in June for the first time since September 2025, driven by stronger activity in the Greater Vancouver area,\u201d said BCREA Chief Economist Brendon Ogmundson. \u201cWe hope this marks the beginning of a stronger second half of the year across BC housing markets as sales converge to more normal levels following several years of unexpected global shocks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Year-to-date, BC residential sales dollar volume is down 6.4% to $31.96 billion, compared with the same period in 2025.
