Important Planning Ideas for Families"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you have finally made the decision to put your house up for sale and are ready to make your big move, you\u2019re going to want to make sure everything flows smoothly to cause as little stress as possible. Since planning a move can be almost as stressful as the move itself, here are five tips you may want to keep in mind as you plan your big move :<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Start Organizing<\/strong><br \/>\nWhen you prepare to sell the house, you will want to create an environment that potential sellers can see themselves living in. This means getting rid of clutter, organizing closets and getting rid of any larger items you won\u2019t need in your new home. The simpler your home is, the easier it will be for the potential buyers to see themselves living there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Repair or Replace<\/strong><br \/>\nWalk through your home and write down things that you would want to be replaced if you were to purchase the home. This can include repainting a room, replacing burned out light bulbs or even replacing a leaky faucet. Remember, if you\u2019re able to see the problem, your potential buyers will see it as well.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Get a Real Estate Agent<\/strong><br \/>\nSince it\u2019s going to be hard to sell your home on your own, you\u2019re going to want to call a professional real estate agent, and you won\u2019t want to wait until the last minute to do this. Whether you find one online or through a referral, talk with a handful to see who knows your area best. An educated real estate agent will know how to price your house and also be able to tell you other information that is pertinent to selling your home.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Don\u2019t Forget the Curb Appeal<\/strong><br \/>\nThe first part of the home a potential buyer will see is the front yard, a term known as \u201ccurb appeal.\u201d Take a close look at your yard and see what needs to be changed. Does the lawn look good? What about the bushes and trees? Overgrown anything in your yard can be an eyesore. If you want to take it one step further and really spruce things up, consider planting a few flowers to add a pinch of color or even replacing the mailbox.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Make it Sparkle<\/strong><br \/>\nLastly, before the real estate agent even visits, try to make your home as clean as possible.
