However, your castle can become quite cluttered with years of collectibles. Are you are the type of person that has every birthday card since you were a kid? Your home may need a serious overhaul. If you are one step away from being on an episode of a show about hoarders, then you need to follow these quick tips to clean up the mess.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>1. Create Stations or Zones in Your Home<\/strong><br \/>\nCreating stations in your home can put all your clustering activities in one place. For instance, rather than having to walk all around your kitchen to gather the things you need to make a pot of coffee, you could keep all the coffee supplies located in one cabinet. You can use this idea to implement organization in all areas of your home. If you are a crafter by nature, then having your craft supplies in one area make it easy to locate and simple to keep clean. You will save considerable time when it comes to finding what you need. Take about 10 minutes every day and organize a space. You don\u2019t have to overhaul the whole home overnight. Work slowly to start improving the flow and storage of your \u201cmust have\u201d items.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>2. Utilize Storage Pods<\/strong><br \/>\nSome homes are just too small to try to keep all the things that you need. So, you look to outside sources to keep those precious moments. There are two ways to store outside the home. You can use self-storage or PODS. PODS, or portable on demand storage systems, are delivered right to your door. You simply load the pod with whatever you want to store. The company picks it up and takes it to their storage facility. Only you have the key to the unit. You can still go and take things in and out of your unit as much as possible, but you have the peace of mind knowing it is safer than a building in your back yard. Temperature controlled units in a self-storage facility are great for storing things like pianos and other temperate items.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>3. Use Storage Shelves and Bins<\/strong><br \/>\nThere are hundreds of storage shelving units available on today\u2019s market. If you lack floor space, then you may want to utilize shelves that hang on the wall. The shelving unit you use doesn\u2019t matter, but what does matter is that you use a hefty duty unit that can support a great deal of weight. Use the collapsible bins to help organize the space. A large shelving unit can hold 10 or more of these bins. You can really get creative when organizing a space with shelves. However, keep in mind that from tools to clothes, you want to make sure that your unit is not overpowering the room.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>4. Try Organization Systems<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you have a lot of stuff to find storage solutions for, then you may want to use a professional system. The garage is one area of the home where the clutter seems to be on overload. Using a storage system, like Dave Kindig\u2019s flow wall can make all the difference in the world. Sometimes it is easier to buy a system that is already pre-made with your specific storage needs in mind. The same can be said for closets. Call a Professional Organizer<\/strong><br \/>\nTry as hard as you may, some people just don\u2019t do well with organizing stuff. There are people who dedicated their professional life to organizing. However, to live in peace and harmony, you must have some sort of organization in your abode.
