Buyers today are now expecting smart home technology built into their next home. In fact, in a survey conducted by Coldwell Banker, homeowners are willing to pay extra to \u201csmart stage\u201d their home with 54 percent saying they would purchase or install smart home products if they were selling their home and knew that doing so would make it sell faster. More than half of Americans (57 percent) also consider an older home \u201cupdated\u201d if the property has smart home technology.<\/p>\n
